Muhlenberg County
Muhlenberg County Kentucky is an active community rich in musical history and famous for being the home of The Everly Brothers, a singing duo popular in the 50's. The county is also known for its vast history in coal mining. With two main water features; the Green River and Lake Malone, many natives and visitors spend lazy summer weekends cruising or skiing on one of these beautiful waters. Along the coastline you'll see some bald cypress swamps and also rolling hills. The area is also known for its sandstone formations and limestone caves. The county population is nearly 32,000 and you'll see many of them during the summer at Saturday's on the Square, a night of music and dancing for young and old.
